Bugged HHA Badges?

I paid off my entire house, chose the theme (Fairytale) and started gathering furniture.
My house has had 695,000 HHA points now for about a fortnight and yet that silly walrus hasn't come to give me my HHA Silver and Gold badges.
He arrived yesterday to give me my Silver gardening badge so he's not bugged himself.

Do I have to remove the theme of the house to get him to give me those badges?
The HHA hasn't sent me the little gold model house either, I've only got the gold plaque.

There are very few bugs in new leaf so I'd assume that it's not one and that in truth you're doing something wrong


Do you have that many points on the theme challenge? (note: it's totally separate from your other score)

Have you completed all of the challenges on the first challenge set?

Yeah I get there's not many bugs in NL, doesn't mean it's entirely bug free.
But you are right.

Didn't know it was separate from the other score though so that'll be my problem.
