I love the giant butterfly models! They look great on a log or a stone stool in the middle of a flower field

Bugs are much better, look more natural. And yeah, butterflies make beautiful decorations. Fish out of water standing on a stick is just weird.

The bug art looks cooler imo and it can fit in anywhere in my island. Fish art looks out of place imo.

It would be nice if the fish models could be actually to scale. Or at least not so pathetically small. It's annoying that a 'gag' was used for something like that.

The bug art is much prettier and has much more variety, especially the butterfly models are beautiful, I need to work on getting more of the bug models!🦋🐝🐞🪲

i definitely prefer the bug art as the butterfly models are one of my favorite decorating items.

I think they're both super cool, but I definitely like the bug models more—especially the butterfly models! I like the bug model stand more than the fish model's, and I get more use out of the bug models. It also kind of looks like more effort went into the bug models than the fish ones, which makes sense since Flick likes bugs more lol

The fish models are still neat, but I wish some of them weren't so flat. I especially wish that the ocean sunfish model was as round as an actual ocean sunfish. I also wish the shark and other big fish models were bigger. The frog, betta, guppy, and bitterling models are great, though! I also like the squid, piranha, and pale chub models!

I'd love to have one of each bug and fish model eventually if I ever start playing again lol. I hope they're in the next game, even if Flick and C.J. aren't, because they really are cool and a lot of fun to decorate with and collect!

the bug models are peak

the fish ones, uh... well, let's just say there's probably a reason why I still haven't finished getting mine made

Butterfly models are really useful! I think they look good in different design styles. And the butterflies look better.

I agree with others that there is more versatility in the bug art! I'm partial to the fish art because I love the ocean/fish. It's a shame some of the models are so small (e.g. whale shark). I would have loved if some of them were more in the style of the Mounted Blue Marlin furniture item, since I think that item is neat. 🐟

agreed ! wish there were more that were cool interpretations as wall decor or celing decor. a la the new leafs bug set, too !

that would have made it really unique to have each one and offered so many ways to utilize them on islands of different types.

i personally also really wanted them to be interactive, such as the firefly or the anglerfish lighting up ! or maybe the squid could also be a model and would spurt ink, etc. its got a lot of lost potential, in my mind. kinda the most boring take on the concept of fish/bug models.

i prefer the bug models, i like that the base is minimal and doesn't have the placard that the fish models have. some of the bug models have "motion" like the lady bug flying and the dung beetle rolling it's ball. i wasn't aware how big some of the bug models could get until i started collecting them.
