Breeding blue roses

@Alexithymiaa: I guess I just kind of assumed it did? If not, then I've got hybrids growing all on their own, because there's a bunch of pink tulips growing in my second town due to so many villagers plopping flowers down right by the bridge. I've never planted anything there or watered that patch, but now there's about 50+ tulips and maybe 5-6 of them are pink, and there's more every day. It doesn't seem to help that that's the bridge all my villagers commune by. >.<

hmm maybe that part in the livejournal was wrong then. I'll definitely have to start paying attention to what my villagers water and if there's any hybrids the next day. :o

It could also just be a 'passive' breeding, meaning their watering isn't affecting it after all. And new non-hybrids are likely the fact that everyone in this town except me seems to think that this spot is EXACTLY where we should be planting ALL FLOWERS, ALL TULIPS from this moment forward.

if you check out the link I posted before your post, it will explain everything :] it's long and image heavy but it's full of useful info and has taught me everythinggg I know about hybrids.

edit: here it is http://animal-xing-3ds.livejournal.com/165269.html

That link was helpful ^.^ gonna do some experimenting with jacob's ladder placement throughout my town! If you have any extra blue roses though, I'd be willing to trade you any hybrid of your choosing (that I have lol)

I'm a certifiable scrub when it comes to blue roses - I just buy myself a breeding pair and go from there.

Once they start breeding, they multiply like rabbits, so pretty soon I can pass on some breeding pairs to my friends.

I'm in serious awe of anyone who can actually breed their own blues from scratch - good luck, TC!

After two years, I gave up and bought a few blue roses from a gardening shop on here.

Now I have a ton of 'em, lol.
