Bought a second game!

Honestly, getting a second game was the best decision I've ever made. good luck finding your favorite map! Hopefully it won't take you too long. I remember wanting a map that was clear in front of the train station so I could make a nice fountain/garden area. A lot of maps have a pond right smack in front of the train station! It was weird.

@ Gizmodo - why can't Marshal be a starter? Can smugs not be starting villagers?

Smugs cannot be starters, along with Uchis. However, Smugs/Uchis are not guaranteed to show up all the time when someone new moves on (to be your 6th villager). It may take a little while to get him.

I'm still at it! Working on the perfect layout still, I'm pretty patient I suppose :3
I also know what dream villagers I eventually want...

Doc, Chief, Celia, Beau, Bam, Lobo, Maple (or Pekoe) Fuchsia, Lionel...and still thinking on the last.

Would you guys recommend Maple or Pekoe? I kinda want both but then again, I wanna save my last spot open and think about who I want! (Still doing the same with my main)

If you're basing your decision solely on the villagers you have atm I would say to not reset because you can always eventually get rid of the villagers you don't want. If you want to go through the potential hours or even days of resetting again getting the perfect layout then by all means go for it. I wouldn't recommend it tho.

No, not on villagers at the moment..trying to get a layout I like :3 And hopefully when I do I'll get one I do like!

I hope your resetting quest has gone well. It sounds like you are getting great villagers, tho. I'm not THAT fussy about a layout altho it has to look decent and feel comfortable, but I tend to get really weird villagers when I try. Ugh.

Oh! I haven't been on much today, but I finally settled on a town...and did change the mayor name and town name! I'll have to update my signature soon.

Started with Doc, Maple, Rosie, Cesar and Eloise....Colton moved in next ^^ I like the layout too! I had settled once on a town that had Bam and Diana but the fruit was oranges. And I couldn't get past it, so I had to restart ;;

I bought a second game just now and the town map is really nice...both slopes to the beaches are vertical, native fruit is apples and I have...Stitches! First try!

But I have Tiffany, Annalisa, Snake and Felicity. Do you think I should keep?

Play it with it for a little bit. You'll figure out whether you want to fully commit. If you decide you don't like the feel of your second town, you can offer up villagers for adoption in Villager Trading Plaza and, ultimately, reset your town.
