I read a bit about Eternal Sonata and I'm probably gonna get it sometime after I finish Blue Dragon and Halo 3.

What kind of battle system does it have?
The battle system is pretty neat actually! When you run into an enemy, your party and you square off one or two or more characters. The battlefield is split between light and dark, each element altering what your enemy as well as their attributes look like along with your attacks.

It starts off as basic turn based combat...but as you evolve, it becomes real time...so basically when your "turn" comes up for each character, you are given a "set" time to inflict damage (start off with I think 5 seconds to work combos and work your way up as you gain more experience and whatnot). It's a very intuitive system and I highly recommend you download the demo off XBL as that will give you the best idea

;)
I would but internet gaming isn't an option for me (complicated) It sounds a bit much right now but I'm sure as I get the hang of it it won't be that challenging.
