Blathers still won't take manilla clams??

Understandable because it’s not really from the ocean and is used for crafting

Well, we certainly didn't find it in deep waters so of course Blathers wouldn't take manila clams, especially when you can find them ever since the game was released.

Exactly. It would be weird if all of a sudden we could just donate something we've caught months ago. Like.. Blathers didn't want it then, why would Blathers want it now lol

Yup. I dug a manila clam today and I wasn't really expecting any new dialog. But I decided to check anyway, and yeah, nothing new.

Oh.. 😶 i just figured there'd be a spot in the sea creatures section for it now. If it's just a crafting material shouldn't it stack in our inventory?

Except it's a crafting material that's more or less "alive" so that's why it doesn't stack. Honestly the game is just inconsistent so it's not really anything to go by unfortunately :( Books are also a crafting material that doesn't stack. So not all crafting materials necessarily stack. But the way I think of it, museum creatures are just creatures you catch with net, diving suit, or fishing rod and are not crafting materials. You get the clams with a shovel. It just doesn't fit
