Blank Recipe Glitch?

Hello! I'm posting this on behalf of a friend since she's not part of the forums but also we both are genuinely curious if anyone else has encountered this.

My friend found a blank DIY on her beach and she doesn't remember how it got there since she had a bunch of other DIYs on the other side of her beach. She's thinking since she had lots of trades, maybe someone left it there, but she's unsure. She picked it up and the DIY is still blank. She's worried to learn it, turn off her game, or sell it/dispose of it because she doesn't want to risk having her game data corrupted with all the recent glitches that have been happening. Has anyone else heard of or encountered this glitch? ;;

Any information or knowledge on this would be super duper helpful! I've attached pictures so you all can see what I mean. Help us solve this mystery of this ghost DIY!

If she has a trash can she could throw it in the trash, I can’t imagine it’d do any harm but I can see why she’s hesitant to do anything with it

That's pretty scary. She could use a NMT, drop it on a random island then leave it there. I doubt it'd be able to corrupt anything that way.

I haven’t seen this yet, but I had a glitch where I thought I got the deer scare diy I had been looking for it to add to my bamboo recreational area, but when I clicked to learn it, it was the deer decoration...

I was thinking the trash can thing too, though I could also see the nmt island being an option? ;; me and her at least agreed that no DIY is worth possibly breaking your game over and other friends suggested that disposing of it through trash would be best?

That's so weird... We have a ghost DIY meanwhile you encountered a shape shifter lol. I'm glad to hear it didn't break your game of anything though! ;-;
