I know this has been made a gazillion times but I can't find one of these posts at the moment, so I decided to make one myself. Who are the most popular or best villagers you have met on a mystery island? Did you take them or leave them? Let me know!

The most popular villagers I've run into were Sherb and Audie. I didn't end up having either of them move in.
The best villagers I've run into that I did take in were Tangy and Kabuki.
I've also run into Ankha and Beau and as much as I loved these two in new leaf, I didn't invite them either.

Also found Katt and Mitzi who I didn't move them in when I first saw them, but I plan to get them in the future.

Ive seen raymond in my campsite before, I havent done barely any nmt villagers hunting so any ive seen are in my top 10

Dobie. Best Wolf. I invited him immediately. He lived on my island for a month but I had someone else adopt him after I got his photo.

Other popular encounters are Diana, Octavian (2x), Dom, Reneigh, & Fang. Didn't invite them. I regret my decision for passing Dom though.

sherb or audie for sure!! i have both but other than them ive only really run into villagers who i don’t like, and while i know this sounds horrible but ugly too. i met a villager named coach, his catchphrase is stubble and it made me want to die fr lmao his weird five o clock shadow looking stuff;;;; gag

In terms of popular villagers, I’ve run into Audie 3 times, Marina twice, Merengue, and Coco (who I would have invited if it wasn’t for the fact that I already had 3 normals). I’ve seen Vivian twice, saw ankha once (still sometimes regret adopting her, Fang, and Shep (is he popular?)

I’ve see Apple twice and almost adopted her. I adore her, but she’s on my partner’s island.

the best island encounter was probably Kabuki. He was my first choice of cranky villagers, and I can’t believe I was lucky enough to find him!

most recently adopted graham from and island, and so far I adore him.

I’ve just started playing but the three villagers ive taken home with me are

I did meet some uglier/less likeable ones, but those were left >

best one was def Judy. would have taken her, but i don’t like her design. she’s too pastel and anime esc for me.
