With how you worded it in your previous post, now that does sound illegal. (In which, looking online for someone else's code for that) Buying it to do multiple computers that you own, within your house.. sure, whatever.
Either way, that's terrible licencing on the developer's part.

Actually most lisence codes work like that. Games are another example.

no online game would do this kind of ******** ass scheme.
once you use the code, it's tied to an account.
if you're sharing your account with people, sure you can (usually) install it an unlimited amount of times on as many computers as you like, and you could "pirate" it like you are, right now.
but if you're sharing your account, it's either a throw-away, or you're ****ing ********.

steam codes work once, and become tied to the account they're used on.
otherwise, who would ever pay money for a PC game? (inb4 the pirate byan)

Not really. It's not illegal to share the codes, just frowned upon, considering you buy the code and it works for an infinte amount of PCs. Dude you really need to stfu :l, tryin' to make me out to be some hacker or some ****.
