Best Concert You've Ever Been To?

I've only been to one (unless musicals count?) but my first one was a show which I went to about two weeks ago, for the McBusted Most Excellent Adventure Tour and I've got to say it was the most amazing thing I've ever been to. I'm not sure if going to the Fall Out Boy concert in October might change my view but McBusted has put my expectations up pretty high.

I've only been to one big one, which was EXO : ( From a bad seat too. I like indie venues better.

Although admittedly I haven't been to many indie venues either. I would like to see more

The emo kid inside of me was really excited when I finally saw Panic! At the Disco, and I really enjoyed all of the opening bands (most of them local, New Politics played as well and they know how to put on a show). However, their set was very short because they shared their stage time with Fall Out Boy, and that really ruined my mood.

I went to Austin City Limits two years ago and it was an overall amazing experience. Vampire Weekend was great, and a band that really surprised me was Grouplove. I'm not really a fan of their music, however, their show is very quirky and fun, and I really enjoyed it. Lionel Richie was a great closing act.

I went to concerts almost bi-weekly in my last two years of high school... I miss that. Some of the best were probably: Arcade Fire (2005), The Decemberists (2006), Broken Social Scene (2010), and Boys Night Out (w/Armor For Sleep, Chiodos and Action Reaction, 2006).

So many more, but I remember these ones the best.

I've only been to one concert back in 2009, but in June I'll be seeing Ariana Grande and I'm sure it'll be amazing.

I haven't been to many - I can count them on one hand. A lot of the experiences were kind of ehhh.

Seeing Jenny Owen Youngs play at a tiny local joint... I was SO PUMPED and I loved her performance, but the stage was surrounded by emo kids who were too cool to show any sign of enthusiasm, and looked at me like I was weird for singing along with her. That taints the memory a little. But afterwards I got to meet her, talk a bit, and she gave me a hug and her autograph (which I still have pinned up on the wall ♥). I've talked to her via tumblr and email as well, seen a few of her StageIts, etc - and she's just such a sweet person. Just wish the crowd didn't suck so much, haha.

Seeing Coheed was nice but the stadium was so empty it was awkward. And of course half the people were smoking weed so I ended up moving seats a bunch of times. But they played Number City, and this was about a month after Claudio himself had said in an AMA on Reddit that they weren't going to be able to perform Number City live anytime soon... it's my favorite off that album so it was a huge surprise and I may have... shed a tear or two. Maybe. Yeah.

Had tickets for NIN but never went, lol. Didn't feel like going out, figured we'd get another opportunity to see 'em. Didn't happen. Still really pissed that I missed The Pixies when they were IN MY TOWN - y'all don't understand, that never happens. Nobody plays in my state, let alone two miles down the road from where I live. And The PIXIES no less! Guhhh.

I think Jenny's always going to be my favorite just because her fanbase is smaller and she talks to her fans on a regular basis. She's super chill. I remember being so nervous going to see her after the show - she was buying a cup of tea and nobody was even around her, which was the weirdest part. I expected fans to crowd her but I don't think they realized she had come out from backstage yet, so we got to head over to a table and talk a little bit. Did I say that already? lmao I'm rambling, I'm sorry. It was just a really nice night.

I'm going to a Mother Mother concert over the Summer, which will be my first "band" concert, so I'm excited.

On Liberation Day (5th of may, in the Netherlands) I`m going with my brother in law to AC/DC in Arnhem.
That is probably going to be the best ever concert. I`ve only been to two others, but both were by Dutch artists (although the Louisiana Blues Club was present at one of them). I went to Dutch duo Acda & De Munnik which I loved, so AC/DC have to bring their A game.

I am both anxious and excited for the concert. Social phobia. :\

ayyy i've seen hedley before! they're great!!
THE BEST CONCERT EVER WAS TAYLOR SWIFT'S RED TOUR. WoWEEEE it was amazing.
Also I'm sure Hilary Duff's Most Wanted Tour was amazing too, but I was like 7 and can hardly remember :^).

Yay *high five*

Haha yeah I get what you mean especially since I never met my mom's friends lol. I think it's gonna be tops anyways. Awesome music you know ;)

I have seen Muse twice, on their Resistance tour, and their 2nd Law tour both where so amazing!
Also managed to see Genesis back in 07 when they regrouped for one last tour,

I am also going to see Hoizer on the 24th May which im so excited about!!

I enjoyed both Streetlight Manifesto and Chicago pretty much equally. They're the only two bands I have seen live, and I saw them both in 2011. They were my bands of choice, too.

Because I have noise and light sensitivity issues, I can't really go to concerts, but I have been to a couple through Otakon (crowds and noise, plus strobe lights on stage...can't handle them. I actually had to step out of the room during a L~Arc concert because of the strobe lights, and I was in the back).

Best one out of that was the TM-R concert. It was Otakon's first concert, so it was (thankfully) small with no strobe lights, and he just had so much fun and energy on the stage that it was a blast! Plus, the songs were good, to boot. XD

Kinda wish I could see a Bon Jovi concert (perhaps an outdoor venue wouldn't be as bad with my issues), but those are extremely expensive.
