I can make 400k per basket going to the island at night and only coming back with 8,000+ bugs & sharks, plus I love the music on the island at night. I only did turnips to get the badges (never did like the "stalk market"). I do have over 100 million in the bank, but I've also been playing for almost 2 years.

Anything online really! hybrids, turnips, villagers, items of all sorts! from unorderables to regular items! full sets, DLC. ACC I made a TON of money on

I think all of these have already been mentioned but here's my list:
- Catch rare beetles on the island
- Play the stalk market (there's a thread in the Train Station section)
- Start a shop in the Re-Tail section
- Sell villagers in the VTP section
- Sell TBT for IGB
- Sell perfect fruit when it's on premium in a non-native town (my current go-to for bells, since I'm too lazy to do any of the above right now)

turnip farming is the way to go~

I usually buy turnips when they are really cheap and ask everyone on the forum for their turnip prices so i can sell them for loads of bells! By the way the island method is a good one too though, it may take some time but it isn't that bad, i bet you do not have the gold bug catching badge yet!
I actually never get my bells via trades, i sell my stuff for such low prices! (Still people do not buy them and even complain about the price, whilst i am really cheap already!)
