How does one get so many (im talkin 20 million) IGB bells? I know of the Island method, but its really slow and I don't think someone would spend THAT much time hunting beetles and then have to sell a whole island box on bell boom for 200k. Please tell me how, because it confuses me..

I do the island method, I buy/sell turnips, and I sell my tbt bells. You can get well over 10 million for 100 tbt bells.

Turnips. 10m in under 30 minutes if you can do it right with the right prices. Lots of people do it. And also TBT/IGB conversions, which is about 100 TBTB / 7.5mIGB right now.

Turnips will earn you many millions quite quickly, I play the stalk market with a few friends but I think there's a thread for buying and selling prices in the train station section.

Turnips is definitely the best method if you can find someone's town to go to. The island is good for bugs at night if you have the right setup, but turnips are better.

Selling TBT. People are crazy over it. ( I remember when TBT sold for 2 million bells!)

I earn a lot of TBT Bells from posting and then I turn around and trade them for IGB. In the last few days, I've gotten my mayor's bank account to 100 million (which earned me the gold badge). My second character was created a month ago and I've got about 62 million in her account. Once I get her at 100 million, I'm leaving the forum.

Selling TBT is definitely the fastest way.

When I get sick of bug hunting, I trade my tbt for bells. I also made around 8 mill with a catalog party. I was just trying to help people complete orderable sets, but tons of nice people left really big tips. I also do a lot of Island games for medals. Whenever theres something rare, I buy a few of them. When I get quite a few items, I sell them. I made over 3 mill last week.Theres so many ways to become rich, but you have to do a bit of work to get there.

There's lots of ways! The island is slower but I prefer that method since I like having to work for my bells rather than always having them readily available. Turnips are another good way.

When I first joined the forum I made oodles of bells selling high tier villagers. I remember selling one for 20 million alone. But I don't do that anymore, having all those bells takes the fun out of the game for me. If you have a high tier villager in your town you no longer want, you can sell them for lots here.

Yeah most people make their money on the stalk market, as there are people who have dedicated selling towns which open on a Sunday so you can sell as soon as you buy from Joan and repeat as much as you want. I've done this a few times and made millions!
Others like to sell their TBT but I think they're much more valuable than in game bells.

Island beetles are good to get the starting funds for turnips. Though I may quit messing with turnips once I get the badges for bells and stalk market...they're too much trouble for me.

However it can't be understated how much time you save by buying and selling turnips once a week rather than spending half an hour per island trip every night.

The island, selling perfect fruit at premium and finding a town with good turnip prices.
Finding a good group of friends that will share premium or high turnip prices is helpful.

A locker of perfect fruit at premium in someone else town will earn you over 10 million bells.
Having an extra town helps. In two day I made 80 million selling turnips. Buying and selling by yourself takes awhile.

The island method is much faster if you pick the right beetles and go to the island at the right time. I haven't made 200k from it (as far as I remember) but I've made enough in 15 minutes that I think that if you did it regularly and for longer you'd make it quickly.

The stalk market is a quick way to make money too (as long as you never time travel back). There are some guides to it that explain it better and it's much quicker if you use the forum to find people who let others go into their towns to sell turnips when they have a good price on them.

I'm lazy so the way I like best is to just sell TBT. You can easily get a few million that way.
