I fell asleep on the school bus one time in kindergarten and I was in such a deep sleep nobody could wake me up so they evacuated the bus and called the paramedics who had to shake me awake. My mom had to come pick me up in the middle of the snow (luckily it was not far from home) and a kid told his mom I died so someone had to call all the families of the kids on the bus and tell them that I was fine.
When I was a kid I ran a lemonade stand to raise money for cancer research. I raised almost $1000 in three days and appeared on the local newspaper twice!
Do you binge TV show episodes or do you like to take your time?
If by binge you mean one episode a day until it is over or something along those lines then yes. Sometimes I might go a few days without watching and then pick it back up. But I don't watch all in one sitting or near close. I feel like I'd just consume it without actually sitting down to digest the show and think about all the points.
I feel like binging a show like that causes you not to appreciate it as much. I don't know. I remember all the back and forth discussions with shows like Avatar when we anticipated the next coming episode and speculated lots of stuff. Which is a nice part that is lost when everyone just consumes it all as quickly as they can.
Is there a hobby or something that you want to try, but are on the fence about taking the first step?
Sewing. I think it'd be a pretty useful skill (especially for a current project I'm working on), but I have no idea how to sew or where to begin. I've done it a couple times when I was a kid, but I was never careful and I pricked myself with the needle often.
