Art Academy Sketchpad on the Wii U & Animal Crossing

For those of you that like to spend some time on the Miiverse, especially now that there is the Animal Crossing Plaza on the Wii U, we've all seen great artwork being published on there by fans. I love it and have drawn some already.

But I've come upon Art Academy Sketchpad for Wii U (published by Nintendo) that integrates a more robust art creation suite for the little artist in all of us. Have you tried it ? Do you like it ? I bought it for 4 miserable bucks and even though the app is not perfect, it sure is quite satisfying to have access to better tools.

I browsed the Art Academy Miiverse community for art pertaining to Animal Crossing and found some. I'll share them with you.

I'm trying to get some coins from club nintendo so I can get Art Academy First Semester. I then want to try out Art Academy: Lessons for Everyone. I am kind of skeptical about buying this app because it only lets you save 12 drawings, not to mention that you can't save them to an SD card and the lessons aren't even available yet. I might skip this version unless they decide to bring some improvement. I refuse to buy a game that is solely to allow you to share art on miiverse but not allow you to keep a big portfolio.

I dunno, it seems like the one on the Wii U might get an extension/DLC sort of ?
