Forcing me? They're making me go but I believe it's necessary. My mom wants me to be a politician, which I wouldn't mind doing, but she wants me to be a Republican, and I will not be one of those when you consider that's Trump's party now.
Keep in mind that surgeons do well financially. Just saying. I think you should do what you want but I wouldn't turn down being a surgeon. I know I don't have the intellect it takes to be one.

I may be remembering incorrectly, but aren't you something like 11 or 12? If you are then college isn't something you need to worry about for a long time. Just try to do well in school and take classes that interest you.

I want to go to college but I think that if I didn't my parents would force me or at least try to. That's what they are doing to my older brother and I think he kind of hates my parents now.

Kinda.... they want me to go to college and major in something just so I have a career, but they also said that if there was something I wanted to do, I could minor in it or have it as a hobby. So, in a way, yes; but my parents aren't forcing me to go to college, they're giving me the option to go to college to have a stable, comfortable future.
