I moved Nook's Cranny and placed Able Sister's on the same day. But I learned today that you can't relocate more than one resident per day.

It would have saved me so many days if it did work. Just the Nook Store is now moving for like the 3rd or 4th time now in my village. Don`t get me started on all the villager houses I still have to move.
