on the subject of tamagotchis. they werent really a 90s thing??????? they came out in '97 and i really doubt they were immediately popular, but whatever

i got mine in like 2008 and they were still popular. didn't one come out last year or was that fake? and it's not like you can't buy them off ebay or something. idk i just don't see how they're "missed" if they're kind of still around but maybe i'm reading things wrong

I wish I was. I watch and play with 90s stuff, and I infer that that was when it was amazing to be a kid! All the GOOD television shows, all the fun games, all the recalled toys.. (okay, so there was that.)

The shows weren't that good and we have even more fun games now. Toys also still get recalled as well.

The '90s was really good for anime too. Not just Sailor Moon. Saber Marionette J, Slayers, Fushigi Yuugi, Nadia The Secret of Blue Water, Dragon Half, Irresponsible Captain Tylor, Neon Genesis Evangelion (mostly good for that theme song), Revolutionary Girl Utena, Outlaw Star, etc.

Video games also had an excellent run. You know what came out in the '90s? The SNES. The Sega Genesis. The Nintendo 64. The original Playstation. I don't even have to name games. All of those consoles speak for themselves.

i was born in the early 80s, but i also grew up in the 90s, my most fav. video game that came out was chrono trigger .. but i agree the animes you've mentioned

Ohh man I was a 90s kid, I figure everyone says this about their generation in time but I truly feel the 90s has been the best decade. So many amazing cartoons, movies, Pokemon being born, pop music was pretty good and very catchy, Gameboy, playing Nintendo 64 every morning then watching really good Nickelodeon in the afternoon...as an animation enthusiast I could faun over the 90s forever. There was so much genius...Ren & Stimpy, Rocko's Modern Life, Hey Arnold, The Powerpuff Girls...And the Disney Renaissance, what an incredible time, definitely the best time to grow up...
