Are you a 90's kid?

Was born in 1994. Hell yes I'm a 90's kid. I remember playing the crap out of the N64 and SNES as a kid and all of the old T.V. shows I'd watch haha. Those were the days.

AH! We stock these at work! The fabulous monkeys they are. They're the reason I have tattoos. (Im joking).

Can't find them anywhere now! I swear they would run out of flavour in like 30 seconds, awesomeoempfeaf.

oh man. the 90's . really good times.
The music was good. The movies were great.
I grew up in both NYC and Paris those years.

I remember how great it was to be a kid at that time. So many different types of cartoons. I remember watching tv and having to use a wire hanger to get good reception haha. and like the tv shows were great. Xena, Fresh Prince and Family Matters and 91210 hahah so many other shows. before all of that reality tv non sense. I remember before they added the rating system on television shows and like how they would do these special "controversial" episodes where a character was either smoking or drinking or pregnant or something. I remember the WWE when it was WWF and when the rock and stone cold was like the face of wrestling, oh and when the Martix came out it was like the biggest thing of special effect and like kids in the school yard would be "doing the matrix" haha and like when the playstation came out and when pokemon came over to the US it was a phenomenon.
blowing on cartridges and the VHS and the cassette tapes.

it was a good time for music too. in every genre...well except hip-hop. rappers were getting shot left and right though. the spice girls and the backstreet boys and so many great alternative bands. and remember when everyone was freaking out because of the Y2K bug. lol and nothing happened. so many things.

The only thing I will never understand is the Macarena. one of the biggest mysteries of the 90's.

No, I'm not. But my grandpa gave me these McDonalds toys that were really old

Pretty cool, I suppose.

only 90s kids remember this thread

lmao yes i was born in '92. i love the 90s hella

I think Nickelodeon had a lot to do with the nostalgia I feel for the 90's.

More specifically any thing Klasky/Csupo pumped out.

Being born Feb. '99, I sure didn't get to grow up in the decade. Of course, my house was still filled with the 90's atmosphere at the time, so I like to think of the early 21st century as the extended 90's.

I was born in '93. I mean, it was a cool time, but every generation had their perks.
It's interesting to see how much technology has changed in such a short time.
The fashion was atrocious.

But I did love having a tamagotchi. Oh, and Wonder Balls.

Sorta? 1992 here. I remember all the way back to at least 95, and naturally remember playing Gameboy, N64, Genesis and everyone hating on the PS1 & Jaguar. I remember a lot of 90's stuff, how it use to be, what it was like to have Bill Clinton as a president, thinking gas was expensive at $1.20 a gallon, remembering when pollution in the sky was worse and made the city browner than it is today. I remember when everyone was rushing out to see Titanic in the movie theaters, when they had those EV1 electric cars but then took them away from people and squished them (apparently in my city), and when we would say the World Wide Web because that was proper, and all the computers were "advanced tech running on Windows 98, over 95", and even then later those colorful Apple computers they pushed in the late 90's. I could go on and on...

But I love those..
I was going to start a thread about that </3

You know you're a 90's kid when you had a tamagotchi..

My school had to send letters home to parents saying tamagotchis were banned from school. XP

I loved how shows had more mortal meaning to them... They actually taught you something rather than just to entertain you!
I miss some of the fashion... everyone now a days want to just wear no clothes or at little as possible to show skin or "to be different! to be a rebel!"... at least in the 90's when we ran around in sport bras as shirts we actually made an outfit out of it rather than just trying to just show some skin. We kept it interesting. XP
I miss the video games! Games now a days are so dumb down compared to the video games in the 90's or even older games... I had my little cousin come over to play some games and I had two Mario Party games, one for N64 and one for GameCube... he hated them not for their graphics but because they were too hard ... And playing computer on hard on the gamecube was like playing the computer on easy on the N64. So, he really hated the N64 one. ((though I think both of my mario party games were early 00's not 90's but still gets my point.))
People actually talked to each other... Now everyone wants to just play on their phone. It's sad to see a group of "friends" hanging out or people out to dinner and neither of them actually acknowledge the other's existence because they are too busy playing with their phones. >.>

But really there wasn't a huge difference between the 90's and the early 00's.

... I remember being kindergarten and for some reason a rumor started that Bill Clinton or his opponent ate babies so not to vote for them... XP
... man what I would do to get the $1.20 gas we use to complain about... I think I recall complaining about it for it being even lower. XP
