I'm not, I was close ;-;
So for 90's kids just talk about how great the 90's were or what do you miss or compare the generations from today to the 90's
No hate though

I was born in 97... But I would not say I liked the 90's. I'd be a 00's kid more than anything. :lemon:

I was born in 92 so I was definitely a 90s kid. My childhood memories include 90s ABC kid's shows, Razor scooters, The Pokemon craze, gameboy colour and of course sweets from the school canteen like Sunny Boys, Pushpops, Ghostdrops and Zooper Doopers :)

I was born in 87 so I loved the 90's. The best things to me were the games and toys and the tv cartoons of course. The original skip-it, tamagotchi, animaniacs on tv, card captors, pokemon card game, the game boy regular and color, super Nes with Mario kart lol good times.

Thanks for this post, it brought back a lot of good memories lol

Urgh. Not another "90s kid" thing. I see people use that term so much it's starting to make me wish I was born in a different decade.

Uh, I guess I was? I don't get the whole nostalgia for TV shows. There were some good ones but it's not like I miss them.

I just get nostalgic for the music sometimes.

I'm a late 90s kid. I have to admit it's quite annoying to be called as such because of teens in our generation bashing on younger gens, but eh, I like the shows.

I was born in 1998 and I always hear people my age say "Oh, I'm a 90s kid!"; No, you're not a 90s kid. Yes, you were born in 1997/1998, but you did not grow up during that time nor do you have any memories from then as such. I'm a noughties kid. But of course there were a few things from the 90s that carried over to the noughties, such as Tamagotchis and Gameboys. ^^ I had about 3 different Tamagotchis and I used to make my mum look after them for me whilst I was at school. I also got my first ever handheld (Gameboy Advanced) when I was 6 years old!

I was a 90's kid. Born in '85 so I actually grew up during then. I miss the cartoons and music(not pop) mostly. I don't think I appreciated being a kid much until now. Things are really different but the same now. Ah nastalgia..

I was born in '88, but I wouldn't say my heart is in the 90's.

I was born in 1999 (so more 2000's kid) and gosh I loved all those sweets. Every time my brother and I went to the shops with our mum we'd always get her to buy us push pops hehe c: and oh my god tamagotchis were the best I think mines still tucked away in my room somewhere. (I really love the music from back then though and some of the songs are the best to hear again and discover it all over again)

Yep. The 90s was my late single digits and my teens. The '90s was the era of pre-American Idiot Green Day, Foo Fighters, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Pearl Jam, Third Eye Blind, Everclear, Alanis Morrisette, etc. That was pretty much the last decade where you could hear rock music on the radio. Aughts turned everything into R&B, auto-tuned pop, dubstep, etc.

The '90s was really good for anime too. Not just Sailor Moon. Saber Marionette J, Slayers, Fushigi Yuugi, Nadia The Secret of Blue Water, Dragon Half, Irresponsible Captain Tylor, Neon Genesis Evangelion (mostly good for that theme song), Revolutionary Girl Utena, Outlaw Star, etc.

Video games also had an excellent run. You know what came out in the '90s? The SNES. The Sega Genesis. The Nintendo 64. The original Playstation. I don't even have to name games. All of those consoles speak for themselves.
