Are my villagers too boring?

If it's something I've learned in my own personal journey of debating villagers, figuring out who stays and leaves...

Is that you probably already know the answer to your own question. Only you can decide whether or not someone is the right fit for your island. And at the end of the day, what does it matter a bunch of strangers on the internet think of your villagers. All that matters is that you love them and they make you happy, and if they don't anymore, then switch it up.

Funny because Billy is in my campsite and I'm making him move in, I need another species and a jock in my village so I'm taking him I also like his grandpa look lol!

Like others have said, all that really matters is how they make you feel. You can always try them out together and make changes if it feels boring to you.

But personally I love your lineup! I have a major soft spot for villagers that look like real animals. I was debating myself if I should do an all natural looking theme or add in some colorful villagers to the mix, but I think I finally decided to keep it natural. I have the unfair advantage of having two switches though, so I decided that when I eventually make a second island I'll have mostly colorful villagers.

Here is what I'm thinking my final lineup will look like. Originally I had Audie instead of Dotty, and Stella instead of Kiki. I love Audie and Stella, so they'll definitely live on my second island. I think they'll fit in better there and it gives me some villagers to really look forward to when I start it.

i 100% agree with your preference of liking villagers which look like actual villagers! I feel the same way. I’m glad I’m not the only one, as before you I’ve not heard anyone have the same opinion haha. I’ve tried to make myself want Ketchup or Judy etc but I just don’t feel any affection (except for Stitches though, he’s an exception)

I like your villager lineup a lot! I think it's all up to you if you like them or not. If you do, who cares if other people think it's boring or not? It's your island!

I don’t know if this is an unpopular opinion but I don’t find any villagers boring at all. They all have their own charm, even the popular ones, and if you like your favorites I think you shouldn’t have any reason not to bring them home to your island.

I listened to Wolfgang having a conversation with another villager and it has basically put me off Wolfgang, who I love, for life.

I think I dry-reached when they were talking about the Crookphone and APPS.
They even said, in caps, APPS, APPS. APPS ARE GREAT.

I hate that I went to talk to Shep today and he was TEXTING and ignored me.

This isn't AC with so much internet crammed in to it.

I hope they remove it at some point because I've lost interest in getting to know my villagers.

Now I just fish all the time.

I really like the balance of your villagers! All that matters though is that you like your villagers since we don't interact with them every day like you do. They're your friends!
