anyways, spawning ornament trees?

I've been having trouble spawning ornament trees. I think it's dated for 12/15/20-1/6/21 for this year. I time traveled to that period and cant get any to spawn. I've move forward and backward for weeks day by day and nothing. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm trying to get the santa village going but need material to craft

I think ornaments fall out the Cedar trees like pine cones did in autumn. You need to wait for them to have lights around them then shake away!

yup it happened once and never came back.

Oh man I’m so excited for the ornament items! I forgot about those somewhat. I’m definitely planning on having some sort of walking path with them (I was inspired by Christmas light drive-thrus).

I'm currently in Winter too. I'm pretty sure that you have to go to December 14 and let it naturally change dates. From what I know, the morning announcements that day triggers the ornaments, so you'll have to watch it. Also mentioned above, just try planting more trees. I might go back to test it out, but hopefully it works for you. Good luck!

I do remember getting maybe one or two ornaments when my town was in Winter but yeah they're kinda tricky to spawn. I think it's just one of those things where you have to keep trying and eventually they will spawn.

pine cones and acorns are 1/10 and 9/10 are tree branch. you need the ornament tree itself to spawn and it's all ornaments that drops. gold ornaments are a bit rarer but not impossible.

all the website i've seen have many trees. i've only gotten one out of the bunch. had 5 pine cone trees before and it refused to spawn. You have a million trees so ....

yea i had to plant more trees.... lol. like snow boy i had to uplift the ground of designs for the snowballs to spawn.

Oh I know pine cones and acorns. I've been in fall for the last 2.5 months. I'm wondering/worried that the ornament drop rate is the same during that period. If so I'm going to need to rethink my layout.

if get the tree to spawn you're golden. every shake is an ornament

thank you. I'm creating santa village in july I'm trying to get the deer lined up as well. This forum is super helpful with any inquiries I have. Especially @Sharksheep post about original villagers and how to maintain it.
