Anyone not received a Villager Pic yet?

I've been playing since the release date, and there was only really a small period of a few weeks (maybe longer) where I didn't play it...

I STILL haven't received a picture from a Villager yet
They come around my house and stop me doing things (in some cases stop me leaving lol) and they still don't send or give me one... lol

Anyone else finding this?

but I've gotten 3 from move-out letters (Butch, Felicty, and Stitches) and a ton from doing the April Fools event


along with a lot from giveaways/purchases on this site

It took me a really long time to get any! I just eventually did every task they asked me if I wanted a photo from them and stayed persistent!

Maybe your friendship isn't high enough? Apparently it helps if you talk to them everyday, write letters to them, give them a present on their birthdays, buy medicine when they're sick and complete tasks for them ex. if they ask for a fruit, catch them a certain type of fish, and so on.

I do tasks all the time too...no picture. Oh well. It will make it all the more special when I get one I guess!

It's a looot harder to get pictures in ACNL than it was in ACWW, from what I remember. I only ever have gotten Anabelle's pic in the mail after she moved out, and I've also been playing since the release date. A couple weeks ago I started up ACWW for the first time in like a year, and I got someone's pic in the same day!

I thought I was pretty good at doing all the things you mentioned...
The only think I don't really do (cos I forget) is attend their birthdays... :/

I have gotten pictures from my villagers ..It seems like the peppy ones are the most likely to do so and the snooty the least... At least in my town. I do favors for them but I have stopped giving them items the majority of the time. I also no longer mail letters to them. I'm drowning in pictures from Tangy.

I reset my town recently and just got all my dreamies so I haven't start getting my friendship up yet but at my old town I successfully got Marshal, Lopez and Deirdre's pics. But you mentioned you didn't attend their birthdays, I think once you start attending them you're gonna have a higher chance of getting pics because at my old town I was TTing a lot to get villagers out and it coincidentally coincided with their birthdays so I attended those a bunch of times.

I also just recently got a new copy of New Leaf because my old one with my AMAZINGLY PERFECT town was lost/maybe stolen :/
So I have yet to receive any pictures but I know I will because I have 2 of my favorite villagers ever (they just came with the town, I didn't even have to try and get them )

the first pics i got were from april fools (i only kept marshal and whitney's,,,,, hhaha...ha a.) but the first real one was marshal's when he moved out a few months ago. i display it when i decide to put up my princess set.

In my first New Leaf town,it took about three months before Gaston gave me his pic but after that the floodgates opened up.I now have about 46 villager pics,not counting the April Fool's pics.There are a couple of villagers that I've had for at least a year that still haven't given me a pic(I'm lookin' at you Pinky and Marina!).Hang in there...the pics will come eventually.

It can take a while and depend on luck, but I don't think it's that hard if you're persistent with high friendship ratings. I think you have a high chance of getting something rare if you go beyond for what they ask for. Like I just got Mint's pic today - she asked for a river fish and I gave her a Dorado. I got Maple's pic by giving her a perfect peach when she requested any fruit.

I still have all of my starting villagers (most of them are staying permanently and no one has ever left yet ^^), and have gotten all their pics except for Deirdre, Papi, and Winnie. I don't think I'm that far off of getting them though - they've given me rare stuff like spotlight items / Rococo furniture pieces, etc... just not their pic yet.
