Anyone in EU doing DLC Trick for Shaved Ice Lamps?

How do we do that (I am interested in learning)? Does making another character allow me to download it again, because if it does, I will make 2 or 3, 1 to trade for the cat tower and the other/s for anyone that needs it 
That's most of it, but you also have to change your SSID on your router to "_The Cloud" and that should do it for ya.
From there, you can connect to get the DLC like you were at a Nintendo Zone, but from your own home

Yeah. I've used all 4 character slots just to collect more DLCs at a time. It's also nice to have 4 separate houses to decorate + extra storage. I also used an old wireless router I had to collect the DLCs from my house instead of having to drive to Best Buy. It's pretty nice not having to wander around a store with your 3DS out, lol.
If anyone gets an extra Shaved Ice Lamp, I'll be happy to trade what I can for it.

Yea, I have the one lamp (loving the cloud trick, huh!?), but just wondered how to get more. I'll make some more characters tonight and let you know if it works. Happy to trade if I manage it OK. Add me on 3DS (I will too) and I'll PM you if it works, if not I'm sure someone who has mastered it will be happy to help .

I would absolutely love it if I could get one. It doesn't seem all that hard unless you have trouble accessing your router, albeit a bit time consuming. If you can help me out I would really appreciate it, if not then don't sweat it, nothing to feel pressured about.

I have used this trick a lot! I have a friend who helped me out a lot with items so I made for him like 10 ice cream lamps... awww and I also want to make more to trade. It's a great chance to get many unorderable items to trade :3

Yea, I have my phone set up to tether using the cloud to get the raccoon clock last time, it was more the process of obtaining more than one I was wondering about. Thank goodness each character can do it!
So Mokuren, you can get more than 3? I assume you demolish each character once they've downloaded the item?
Will sure see what I can do because each character takes a while to make up and go through the whole process of moving in etc.
But for the three I get, how about they go to PN1533, Alkron and GingerSchnapps???

I absolutely love the look of the ice cream lamp and would be overjoyed if anyone's got one up for trade. I don't have a lot to offer, but I can get some orderable Japanese DLC like the Aurora Screen, Sakura Clock and I think the Koi Banner was DLC, too? Might be wrong about that.

I shall probably do this too to collect a few lamps. Though I'm lucky my gym also has The Cloud wireless and they are literally 3 doors down from my house, so I don't have to change my SSID. xP

I'm willing to help everyone in this thread so far (PN1533, GingerSchnapps, Alkron and Campy) plus the PM I received, so that's 5. I'll trade for the cat tower (actually looking for 2 towers so if that's all you have to offer, that's OK, I completely understand as I don't have much myself!) or any other exclusive DLC but again if you don't have then that's OK.
If all goes well, I can spend some time and maybe get 2 per night afterwards to give me some time to play my game at the same time and help some others as I go.
