Anyone here actually BREEDED blue roses?

I attempted to breed them from scratch once... lasted 2 days then someone tipped me 6 blue roses for letting them do a petition in my town...
But all blue roses I have had and still have since then I have bred and never bought...
I have, however, get really ticked because every time I go to breed pink roses for some reason the pairing always ends up breeding blue roses... so I have bred them from scratch before... ((and then my little area where I was just watering and just so happened to have a red and orange rose together bred a pink rose... really pink rose? really? ...))

At this point I just buy all my hybrids...I have lots of bells, not enough hybrids.

Only thing I did was buy 2 blue roses online and from there I just bred the rest

That's my story.

But yeah, with how easy they are to breed once you have two of them and the high demand for them, they're not at all rare anymore. I don't mind, though. Just take pride in knowing you bred them yourself.

not sure why it matters whether people buy or breed them. people do what they want, and its not like its "special" to breed them, just time consuming

bought my first few and bred from there.

I tried breeding them myself. Took some time and I has this gap on my beach for blue roses to go when finally I found one next to my orange roses and went from there. I've got a nice amount going right now and haven't actually brought any of the forums as far as I can remember. I've brought some hybrids that never seem to grow in my town (pink lilies, black cosmos)

I tried but I kept forgetting which reds were special. I may try again on the beach one day though. More power to those who had the patience to breed blue roses xD

What a pain. I took the reds that popped up in my pink rose patch and separated them. Then took the reds that bred from them and made another patch. I got one blue from second generation red hybrids and two from the third gen. Then it it was 4 or five blue a day if I watered them.

I tried breeding for probably 6-8 months with no luck, so I ended up buying 2 through the ReTail forum. Now I have a bunch that have spawned since then from those two.

I wanted to breed my own, but honestly, I got fed up. It was irritating trying to remember which red roses were re-spawned and which ones were being randomly planted by my stupid villagers!

I got a blue rose from a giveaway even before I thought of breeding blue roses (I was still working on making more pink roses back then). So I tried breeding the another one from scratch, but the single blue rose kept bothering me. Eventually, I gave in and bought another one

All hybrids were done by myself.
For the blue rose I followed The Forbidden Blue Rose youtube video. Started with Orange and purple setup on the beach like the video show. It was around September. All maybe special red rose from there got moved to another spot on the beach.
Set up in a checkboard pattern. As soon as I started getting fertilizer I started using it in random spots.
On Nov 1st I received my 1st blue rose and 2 weeks later the 2nd one showed up. They grow like crazy. To get more I took 9 and put pairs of 3 on the other beach. Days that it snowed I got 6 to 7 blue roses.

I bred two blue roses from scratch but they were taking so long to produce more roses (I don't fertilizer because I don't have the shop upgrade yet), so I just bought a bunch of them and now I have blue roses completely surrounding my house because I don't have anywhere else to put them yet.

I tried doing it from scratch.. it was taking a long time and I was actually about to give up.. then I joined TBT and I found out about shops in TBT marketplace I bought a few blue roses.. and got a few more from a giveaway :3
So I planted them all in an empty spot (in zig-zag pattern to grow more) and got like 2 new ones to grow in my town :3

I'm still trying tho, to get it from scratch. lol right now I have a few orange and purple roses planted by the beach to make hybrid red rose.. xD

Looked after, watered and fertilised my precious patch of pure hybrid red roses (meaning these were roses I was 100% sure were hybrid) everyday for 3 weeks. Blue rose sprouted somewhere else altogether.

Another blue rose sprouted next to that the day after. I gave up trying to understand them and let them do their thing.

I bred them myself, and it took many months. I was so surprised the day I found my first blue rose! A few days later I managed to breed a second one, and after that they bred really fast. I enjoy breeding my own hybrids rather than buying them, I think it's a lot of fun.

Honestly I've tried but I just put all of my roses together and wait, one eventually pops up.

My friend gave me a couple blue roses and now I can make a bunch with fertilizer. I am trying to make a blue rose without blue roses now for the challenge. It took me forever to get a white carnation, but it was fun so I want to try with roses too.
