Flurry and Hamphrey are the most special villagers to me. :'> I knew I wanted hamster villagers when I first started playing ACNH and I found myself attracted to hamphrey, apple, clay and not so much Flurry.
Flurry's story
:
After I got my 10th villager, the first one to move was peaches and at this point in time I was island hopping but never found the preset list of villagers i wanted. I didn't time travel back then so it moved onto the next day and flurry had taken the open plot. To my dismay of not getting the hamster villager I wanted I didn't care for Flurry at first but I still would talk to her. The more I talked to her, the more I heard her voice and gave/recieved things from/to her I slowly started to fall in love in her sweet chubby character design and her fluffy personality.
Now here I am today being her #1 fan. ( ´ ▽ ` ).｡ｏ♡
Hamphrey's story:
So I already knew I was gonna like hamphrey. Cranky? Deep voice? Not that intimidating cuz he's a phat chubby hamster? PERFECT. (idk i rly like the deep voice crankies lol) I was island hopping for days to the point I would stay up for days just to be found passed out mid game and this was also before I knew what tiers were and how certain villagers are super valuable to a lot of ppl on this forum. heck this was even before I joined the forum. I found this dumb cat with glasses twice, nope, unicorn? nope, cute pink octopus 3x!? she cute but not in my list ;0; this was on repeat for about a week plus I was painstakingly trying with all my might to YEET ankha for a friend for two weeks before I knew about the bubble method. (persistant irritating mess) I think I island hopped almost 1000 times. On probably the end of the 3rd week I happened to pass out mid-island hopping without seeing who the villager on the island is. My boyfriend takes over and finds Hamphrey on that island I was on! and he proceeds to recruit hamphrey without waking me up. So, when I log into the game the next day I'm shocked. IT'S HAMPHREY!!! He tells me "oh yeah, right before you knocked, the island you were on had hamphrey.( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) " And I screeeeam because all that hard work paid off! I talk to hamphery for the first time and he's everything I expected and more <3
ACNH has been so much fun and this is forum makes my experience with it a 1000x's better. I've never played a game as much as I do ACNH. Not even as a kid. Almost 700 hours into the game and I'm not tired of it. ♡( ◡‿◡ )

They are sweet and have gorgeous designs and running into them makes me happy every time. Annalisa is just the most precious thing when she's bending over to smell a flower, her little feathery tail wriggling up in the air. And when I'm working on my island late in the evening, Cherry is usually somewhere nearby singing K.K. Waltz in her adorably squeaky voice.
