Anyone grown blue roses themselves?

How did you do it?

A lot of people say they got their blue roses from a friend

but then I want to know how their friends breeded their flowers to get a blue rose so I can do it for myself ^^

I did it myself. I removed all flowers from my town and only worked on blue roses. I used fertilizer and I'm pretty sure I had the golden watering can.

I'm sure that's not the answer you want.

I did recently get a purple pansy by using fertilizer and only watering the flowers I wanted to breed. (I have the beautiful town ordinance.)

Yes, took a few months though !

I did all the flower breeding on the beach,having pairs of second generation/hybrid red roses which I watered every day and no others. Took a long time to get my first blue rose, but after that the second soon came along as I watered only the blue rose x a second generation red rose.

Hybrid red rose = white x purple roses

I put blue and blue next to each other, used fertilizer, and watered them even though I have Beautiful Town Ordinance.

I've never been able to grow them from the start, I tried for weeks but I never got them. I was able to get 2 from someone I met on the island a few months ago

I did and it took along time before I found the first blue rose. The 2nd blue one showed up a 12 days later. They grow like weeds.
I followed the youtube called The Forbidden Blue Rose.
He shows you how to set up the orange and purple rose to get the maybe special red rose.
I can them maybe special red rose because the game or a villager could have planted them in the empty space.
Think I had over forty maybe special red roses before a blue rose showed up. I did planted mine on the beach. You still have to watch villagers. If your down on the beach for along time they'll start showing up. The night before I got my first blue rose I had 3 villagers down their planting like crazy. I was fishing and watched them drop a flower. Save and quit. Started up and another villager was down their planting. Think I took away 2 pockets full.

Oh my god, this. I tt'd 6 months just to get it to spawn, but I gave up and someone on here gave it to me for free. It was really nice for them even though I offered them money.

I have never been able to breed one myself intentionally. Like every time i tried, it never worked, and i tried just about every configuration, fertilizer, jacobs ladder near by, watering it... The one time it popped up, it was not intentional at all. It was just there as i walked through the town. Sigh.

Blue roses were the only hybrids I had to buy a pair of, I just couldn't get my hybrid reds to spawn any!! I'm sure eventually they would have, but it was easily imo to just buy a pair and have at it, lol.

I couldn't get blue roses by myself. I tried a few times but I can only get them from other blues and fertilizer. I did manage to get a white carnation myself. It probably took about a month though. I made a box of carnations and kept burying fertilizer in the middle of it.

LOOOOL i got mine in a few days. i dont get why it takes forever for some people. i didnt even have fertiliser at the time.

I got mine within a few days by doing this:
1. Breed 2 oranges together to get 2 oranges
2. Breed 2 purples together to getv2 purples
3. Breed the new oranges and purples together to get red
4. Breed those red and only those red to get blues, bin any reds from reds. Only breed reds from the new orange and purples

I have, but it took MONTHS before I finally got those hybrid reds, and not from purple and black. I followed the Japanese guide which mixed in a few other colors, finally getting 2 special oranges which led to special reds finally blue.

I'm trying haha. I don't even want roses in my town tbh. But I'm planning on selling the hybrids.
