Anyone grown blue roses themselves?

It took me over a year to get them, trying everyday with the exception of needing another hybrid for a particular reason, but now I have them, for me this is part of the fun

I tried and gave up after months. Eventually as I came across the forums someone gave me 12 blue roses in exchange for 6 black hybrids. I'm sure if I had a gold watering can by then I would've been successful.

No. I know what I did wrong, but at the time I didn't.
A nice Japanese girl from Tortimer Island gave me some blue roses after she heard I was having trouble. After that, I bred a bunch of blue roses from what she gave me and randomly gave them out to people who was also having trouble on Tortimer Island.
