You can use them multiple times. How do the cards work? Do they expire after one use or can you use them several times and then potentially sell them on/give them away for someone else to use?
Thats basically what Im planning on doing! I want to have a few amiibos to cycle thru so that I can keep meeting new villagersOnce you start Amiiboing villagers in and how simple the process it, it gets addicting real fast. You can even rotate them out and only keep a few permanent villagers.
i think i've subconsciously been doing this as well honestly... other than coco, zucker, kik, and julian, i've been swapping villagers in and out pretty much constantly with all my amiibos. sometimes my friend makes me feel guilty for it but also there have just been a lot of residents i didn't connect with and i just wanted to experience someone new! so i can see myself doing this often. pietro and dotty are in my sights right now, but it'll be later this summer before i spend money on their amiibo cards if i can find a deal.Thats basically what Im planning on doing! I dont think theres anything wrong with it especially if you didnt connect w the villager! and I think its fun seeing fresh faces around the island (tho I definitely have villagers that are never leaving) and I kinda wanna try getting all the photos of my amiibo villagers so thats something to continue working towards : Di think i've subconsciously been doing this as well honestly... other than coco, zucker, kik, and julian, i've been swapping villagers in and out pretty much constantly with all my amiibos. sometimes my friend makes me feel guilty for it but also there have just been a lot of residents i didn't connect with and i just wanted to experience someone new! so i can see myself doing this often. pietro and dotty are in my sights right now, but it'll be later this summer before i spend money on their amiibo cards if i can find a deal.
i just really enjoy meeting new villagers sijlskds,d
omg that is lucky! and swap events sounds fun : DI bought some specific villagers on eBay before the game came out because I knew they'd go up in price but there's still lots I don't have.
I was lucky to be living in NYC when they first came out as there were swap events at the Nintendo Store. So I was able to get all of series 1, and some of the other series. I wish I'd gotten more though and I would definitely buy more if they re-released them. I have all the Sanrio ones but they're pretty useless now!
You are so strong....It does still hurt knowing the packs are much cheaper but I cannot help being impulsive LOLI'm considering buying amiibos for some of my less popular favs (rory, spike) but paying even $10 when I know I could get a whole pack of cards for a fraction of the price kinda hurts so I haven't yet
yeah there's a couple ive really connected with and are never leaving, chief and wade are definitely slowly becoming part of that list, and i do feel somewhat guilty when i boot villagers out, but then i remember i have their amiibos and i can bring them back anytime and im like meh, it makes me happy to see new faces all the timeI dont think theres anything wrong with it especially if you didnt connect w the villager! and I think its fun seeing fresh faces around the island (tho I definitely have villagers that are never leaving) and I kinda wanna try getting all the photos of my amiibo villagers so thats something to continue working towards : D
