Anyone else not have any dreamies?

I'm sure I'm not the only one who doesn't have dream villagers. I always let my villagers move out when they ask to and I pretty much let whoever move in. I prefer having a variety of personalities in my town, but the game seems to be designed in a way that it tries to balance the personalities so I almost always have at least 1 villager with each personality.

A variety of villagers moving in and out keeps the game fresh and exciting for me. I have had to design my town with very simple paths because I don't plot reset, though. And I don't have hybrids and I don't plant all my fruit trees together. So I don't usually get too frustrated when someone moves into a less than ideal area. Basically I actually planned my town paths and layout in a way that makes it easy to change so I can accomodate new villagers.

Also, I love getting villagers dropped off from other towns via visitors or street pass. It's neat to see their catchphrases and houses and hear about their old town. It adds a little bit of depth and history to them, IMO.

I feel like I'm in the minority, but I'm not alone, right?

Amen amen amen!! I totally agree with you!
I may sound silly but I've become attached to all of my villagers that have come and gone. Each one is specisl to me and are Unique. I like getting to know each one as they are instead of choosing who i want in my village. Not bashing nobody with dreamies if i could id have a town full of Daisy.

Yes. I get so attached to each villager that lives/lived in my town. If I didn't let everyone move, I would end up not letting anyone move. lol. I'm just glad when a villager decides to move, that they seem excited about it or have a reason so I don't feel bad about letting them go.

And I think it's great that some people have dreamies. One of the great things about this game is that it's basically impossible to play it wrong. As long as you're having fun and not causing problems or making the game less enjoyable for others, you're playing Animal Crossing how it is should be played.

Sort of, kinda.
My only true dreamie is Wolfgang. He is the one villager I will always & forever keep in any town that I have <3

Other then that, I've been sticking with a few villagers for quite a while (Whitney, Marshal) but I do like to switch out others since there's over 300, it's nice to have new animals every now and then. c:

I have villagers that I like and ones I dislike, but I don't have any that I'm obsessed over to the point of resetting for them or buying them. I tend to like most villagers unless they just irritate me. My newest town that I'm doing a Forest Challenge on I'm just going to let them come and go as they please.
