anyone else never happy with their island?

No, I really like my map and what I've done so far. When I see other islands I realise that my house placements could be neater and I do get little inspiration tips here and there, but otherwise I'm very happy with my island.

I’m never happy with it for one giant reason. Flowers. They keep replicating. They are worst than weeds but they are too pretty to destroy or sell. I plant a few in one area and now they cover the whole area/acre. I think it’s also why my island is unfinished or atleast have not progressed as far in development as it should be since I don’t want to touch or remove the pretty pretty flowers.

I really wish they could be picked up barehanded, stacked, and could be put in storage, it could still be used for crafting materials if they had put in a pruning shear tool for gardening, Leif could have sold it.

Honestly, no. I’m pretty happy with how my island has developed through this first month. The pictures I see online is a great motivation and only leaves me impressed! Also, when I look back at how my island used to look it’s really cool to see the improvement. And I know that it will only get better, but it takes time. My island looks so much cosier than it did at the start, and it’s beginning to feel like a ‘home’. This alone gives me motivation for the future, who knows how much development I will have in the next month!

Yeah, i never feel satisfied with how my island looked like as well as my town back in ACNL since i'm pretty bad at designing things, but my island isn't pretty much completed so i'll try my best to make it as perfect as i expected

I definitely relate with what you're feeling; it sucks that looking at islands online can immediately make you feel that yours is thoroughly lacking even if you were proud of what you were doing prior to being exposed to other islands.

I also feel that when I got more used to how my island looked it started to seem more eh to me? Since everyone has different ideas and ways as to how they would decorate, seeing a setup that you've not thought of can make you feel inadequate about your island, regardless of how well-decorated it really is. I guess the only option is to refrain from looking at other players' island setups as it does help with me not viewing my island as complete trash lmao
