Anyone else have too many villagers with the same personality type?

I try to avoid repeating personality types, but that's almost unavoidable because there are 8 personalities and 10 spots for villagers (9 of which are mandatory). I think the personality I'll end up repeating will be Uchis, because lots of the villagers whose design I like best are Uchis. There are some types I don't want to repeat if possible because I like the one villager I have within those too much to end up being distracted by another one with an almost identical dialogue.

I have 4 jocks-yikes! Bam, Pierce, Sly, and Lyman. I should probably let a few go but I actually like the ridiculous stuff they say and none of them have ever pinged me to move since they arrived.

I've got two Jock-types (Sheldon and Jitters), two Normal-types (Peaches and Chevre), two Smug-types (Hans and Olaf), one Lazy-type (Nate), one Snooty-type (Naomi), one Uchi-type (Fuchsia), and one Cranky-type (Wart Jr.). Would rather just have Normal-, Smug-, Cranky-, and Lazy-types.

In Westerly, I have two crankies, Avery and Elvis, and two snooties, Bree and Maelle.
In Granada, I have three normals, Lolly, Maple, and Sydney.

This is not a problem for me, though. As I love all 20 of my villagers from my two towns.

At one point I had 5 normals in my town. I don't anymore, I only have 2 but I would love to have a town full of normals ^^

the dialogue would be very repetitive though

I used to have 3 normals and 3 peppy villagers, but I switched it up to include more jock and cranky, the two I had been neglecting. it's more exciting that way!!

My main town has three normal villagers and it gets a little repetitive but I refuse to let Lolly move to get in another of some other personality even though she doesn't fit my theme... In the rest of my towns I don't have more than two of any type and I like to have at least one of each, just that one town feels full of normals and i get bored sometimes

I have a tendency to get a lot of peppy villagers- which I love, but the dialogue can get so redundant sometimes >.< Right now I have 2 normal, 2 lazy, 1 cranky, 1 smug, 1 snooty, 2 uchi and 2 peppy

I have 3 lazy villagers and 2 peppy villagers (1 I'm trying to get rid of because I don't like >:V). The problem is tho that I like all of my lazies! D= Papi, Zucker, and Jeremiah are awesome, and I'd just be torn to let them go, buuut... QuQ

I have 2 normals and 2 snooties. I'm fine with keeping at least 2-3 of the same personality or else, their dialogues would be redundant and boring especially normals (they're super cute though).

This used to be me with peppy types. Had three of them. Puddles, Ruby, and Bon Bon. All of them moved on, and now I have two snooty types (Whitney, and Willow), and two cranky types (Fang, and Static).

I used to have 3 Cranky types: Gaston, Elvis, and Hopper. And no jock types hahaha. But it was so hard for me to let one of them move out. Gaston was my original Cranky and he grew on me and his mustache was adorable. Then Elvis was cute as well and he lived right next to my mayor and his bff status was Vesta was the best. Then Hopper was a penguin and I couldn't get rid of him either way. I finally asked around here and people said to give up Elvis so I did haha. He went to a nice home though.

Now I have two Crankies and two Preppies. (The Preppies being Apple and Bunnie.) But I have all the personality types so it's not a surprise that I would be doubling up on them.

i love snooty villagers, i have 2 of them in my main town and plan on getting one more snooty in my second. there are way too many cute snooties, whyy! ;~; i try to keep at least one of each personality but if i went wild half of my town would be snooties!

Oh goodness, yes. It kind of overwhelms me because I feel like it's weird, but it is what it is. For some reason, all the cute villagers seem to be peppy or normal. >_>

I try to get all the personalities. One of my towns had 4 smugs. It was hard for me to decide which two to let move. 4 of the same is a bit much for me.
