Anyone Else Have This Problem?

Does anyone else not like a single person in a personality type? I don't really like any of the lazys or smugs. The best lazy is Stitches, and the best smug is Marshal to me. But, I don't really like them that much. It wouldn't matter to me much, but then I can't get PWPs requested by them. I think they should take the personality type restrictions out, because I have a really hard time passing up some good PWPs.

I don't have that problem. I accept them for who they are . Don't judge a book by its cover.

I don't like any Uchis or Jocks. Some Lazies are fine but I don't really want them in my town.

I find it really hard to like Uchi and Jock characters. It mostly has to do with the design and personality combo, they clash for me. Only Jocks I've liked so far are Kevin and Snake, while the only Uchis I like are Fuchsia and Phoebe.

It's not as bad as you have it, but when I was looking who I'd like to have in my final town, I wanted at least one of each personality type. And since those two personalities have a lot of characters I don't like, it was kinda hard to pick.

I was actually wondering if there was variation in villager's characters within a personality at all, since they kind of all have the same set phrases to say. Do more personal touches become apparent after you get to know them?
I have liked some villagers more than others of the same personality type, but I've always wondered if it's just my imagination.

I've honestly wondered about that myself. I recently got Ruby, and while she does have the various Peppy lines that Cookie had, I've also seen her saying stuff that I don't remember Cookie saying. I'm not sure if my memory's just bad or if some characters have (somewhat) unique lines.

I don't really like the smugs. I played CF and a lot of their dialog annoyed me. But I wanted a smug so I could have all personalities in my town. I had Zell but I didn't like him and then I met Marshal in someone else's town and I just had to have him. I will never let him go now. Also Jocks I couldn't stand them at all. I met Bam in my cycling town and I almost didn't want to let him go. When I did get him later on he plotted in a really bad spot but I made due with it and now I like the little bend in my path.

it might just be me, but i find the 'normal' personality kind of bland?
i have 2 normal villagers as of now, pekoe and skye, both of which i really loved when i got them; however i've been having second thoughts about keeping skye around and replacing her with another villager. :/

I like a few uchis: Canberra, Cherry, Pashmina and Muffy, to name a few. They're quite unique and tomboyish. Quite a lot of the designs are unappealing however, in my opinions
As long as Drift stays in future installments, Drift will always be my jock. Unless Iggy makes a return.
Peppy are quite bland, they repeat the same thing and I don't realize Bangle lives in my town.
Normals are cute and I like how they have a range of likes and hobbies yet it is... bland, as well
And lazies are ugh

i can assure you t hat there are no unique lines, only less used phrases.

also OT: jocks were hard for me to pick 5 of. i was able to pick like... 3 of them easily, but after that i was like "?????"
and there arent many smugs left that i like that i dont have.

hmm. You have a point with that XD. I feel a bit the same with Lolly and Pekoe, but I just can't let one of them go lol. #AttachmentProblems

Uchis are kinda dodgy for me. Phoebe and shari are the only 2 i would ever let live in my town.

I cant think of peppies i would want either.

Its the reverse for lazies however; i like almost all of them. Its my rule that i need at least 2.

I wish I had your taste in Uchis . Seriously, the only Uchi designs that I like are Phoebe & Tammy .-. And I agree, Rocket's hideous.

I tend to not like the jocks or the lazy personalities, but I love Moe and Stitches.
