I agree with the OP about animals force giving items you don't want. When some animal did that, I purposely hit the animal's head with a net to the point they got angry. This is what happens if they force give. This is way worse than animals moving in front of the mayor's house, and it has been here all the way since the GameCube version.

I don't care if you give me stuff I don't want in reality or the internet, but that rude message is only for the animals.

Lol, this happens to me all the time. I remember when I was trying to slowly cycle I would have villagers ping, and I would get my hopes up, thinking they were moving. Wrong! They wanted to give me some junk. It's really annoying, especially when you're trying to keep your pockets empty so villagers won't ping asking you for the item. I see where you're coming from. I wish that no just meant no in this game XD

I love though when they want a sapphire or something and want to trade an ugly t-shirt for it. I think one time I was offered a moldy shirt. Gee, thanks. I didn't know we had such a valuable friendship. -_-

This happens to me a lot. I'll be getting ready to save, and then a villager will ping me and give me an unwanted item. Then I have to visit Re-Tail.

Yes! 100% I hate it more when they give me clothes, as I only need one shirt I love.

Before New Leaf, there was no point in collecting clothes if there is the Able Sisters. Now that we have long-sleeve shirts and long-sleeve dresses and bottoms, I find collecting clothes more fun in-game, especially since my characters are girls.

If an animal wants to force give anything, I would be less angry if it was a GracieGrace item, Island Item, or another rare item.

I've gotten rare items from them Not Island items, but things like furniture from the cardboard sets and other unorderables. I've also gotten things that weren't rare but that I really wanted and couldn't find in my Nooklings or Able Sisters, so that was nice too.

Yeeeeah, I don't like it when they force me to take something, even if it's free, because I have to go sell it (or throw it in the trash if I'm extra lazy) so some other villager doesn't try to buy the random thing from me and put it in their house. =_=

I don't really mind. If it's a free item, I'll take it :3 I can always sell it if I don't need it.

If they are asking for a trade I always trade with them unless they want a item I want to keep

I don't mind them giving me stuff as long as I don't have to give them something too, haha. The other day Antonio forced me to take a shirt with roses on it cause he didn't want to get caught having a flower shirt. Guess you'd expect that much from a jock haha.
