Anyone Else Failing Festivale?

Nana took one of the green feathers that I needed to give to Pave while we were playing rock-paper-scissors.

Pro tip: Keep empty mail in your inventory to put feathers of the color Pave wants in so that villagers won't take them if you lose their games. You can also put them by the town tree for safekeeping.

I played for a couple hours yesterday and got about half of the set x____x I really don't even like it, it'll probably sit in my museum, but I want to collect it anyways...
I also want a rainbow feather to keep.

I'm not finding or obtaining through villagers any pink feathers.. aghrrr!! I've got 2 pieces of furniture so far, not sure if I'll make the whole set even without duplicates ahah.

Found four Rainbow feathers today, I'm keeping one. Now I'm looking for red feathers for Pave. So far I have the wall, the floor, the bookshelf, the sofa, the lamp, and the closet.

Here's some good advice: Catch the feathers you don't need. Then play games with the villagers. If you win, usually they'll give you the feather you do need. Store the ones you need at home and keep trading and betting ones you don't need, so if you lose, nothing bad will happen, because they're the feathers you don't need. I just got 3 red feathers in a fraction of the time it would've taken me to catch them. Now I have the wall, floor, bookshelf, sofa, lamp, closet, and clock. No duplicates so far!

Oh, it turns out I'm going to miss the Festivale because I left my 3DS at a relative's house yesterday and I refuse to time travel. If one of my villagers moves before I get it back, I'll be depressed.

I have been having great luck, to be honest. I found at least 7 Rainbow Feathers in 10 minutes, and I got my set complete within an hour.

What's your secret? Grats. I think we should start a "Birds of a feather stick together" thread on retail and help those missing 1 piece or so. Pulling my feathers out....grrrrrr

i did the festivale a couple weeks ago. eventually i stopped playing it because pave just kept asking for the same kind of feathers over and over again and kept giving me the same furniture items constantly and it just started getting really repetitive
