I’ve been wondering if anyone else collects squishables? If so, I’d love to see what ones you have and your thoughts on the brand.

I love them! The price is really expensive but the quality and softness is so worth it. I just discovered them last year online but only recently got some. One was part of my birthday present and two I used a visa gift card at a grocery store; there weren’t a lot of choices there.

It has been really hard to find plushies as soft as the Squishables. I do plan on looking at Pokemon center though so I can get that Substitute plush that @NefariousKing has (unless it is sold out by the time I can get one).

Sorry that my picture is upside down. It’s correct on my phone.

I really love the food squishables. I hope they make a pop can/bottle one soon. I also would love the Plague Doctor, the anubis and bastet if those ever returned.

So this is something I have 0 knowledge about, but my sister has several. How should I start my research for buying one for her bday? I don't think she's necessarily a rare collector, but I don't want to give her crap or accidentally buy an off brand or cursed doll, lol...

I've always wanted to start but they're suuuuper expensive where I used to live. ;_______; So now that I've moved stateside, I have started my collection lol. My dad won a Ryan's World dino one for me at a random crane game machine a few months ago. Since then, I've gotten two Hello Kitty ones (if it wasn't already obvious, I love Sanrio).

I am currently squeeing over one of the Costco exclusive HKs I managed to snag thanks to my partner. She was the last one (in the warehouse I guess), according to the price tag. 😭 Had to "save" her after a young girl was told "no" by her mother and put it back.

I would recommend checking their official site first. They've got the 15' squishables, those are the size of the Catbug and Avocado Toast that Dunq has, they usually go for around $45 a plush. Mini squishables are smaller (about 7') and go for around $20.

If you decide trying to find a retired plush instead (buying them secondhand on places like amazon or ebay), you might want to check the retired list here to make sure if a plush is an official design or not.

You already know about my collection, but I'm going to share a picture without Substitute in it haha.

Currently my collection only includes a mini Plague Doctor and mini Hati II. I've preordered the mini Poodle Moth and mini Baphomet though. I'm also planning to add the mini Forest Demon to my collection someday too. ^^

I've only stuck with minis so far, but I am interested in getting a 15' squishable someday. They're just so expensive. 😔

My husband bought me a T-rex squishable back in like 2013 or 2014. In fact I think it inspired my username for the PS3 and eventually TBT. I loved it but it was really quite bulky tbh, couldn't bring it with me when I moved across the world

Wow that plague doctor 😍 I wish I never saw that cuz now I'll be $65 poorer.. lol

I buy squishmallows (I have the elf, reindeer, panda, and fox) but now I feel like I've been converted over to the squishables side. Food and plague doctors just speak to me on a more spiritual level XD

I’ve never actually heard of them, if I’m being honest. They look cool though!

I have a few squishmallows, a medium-size tiger and a big green triceratops as well as a few little keychain ones. tbh I don't really love nor hate them, I do like that they're squishy but when it comes to plushies I generally favor ones that look more like the animal they represent. what I'm not fond of is the fact that the big squishmallow is basically just a decorative pillow, using it as an actual pillow would flatten it. to me, if I couldn't actually play with a plushie as if it were a real toy, or use a "pillow" as an actual pillow, then it's not really worth it to me.

I'm actually considering selling my triceratops cause I bought it like half off two years ago and I could sell it now for around $25-30. I would rather have the money lol.

Well, now I have another kind of squishable that I want to collect. 😭
I am collecting Smooshy Mushys currently.. okay, I have about 6 of them.
Would love to have more of them, but I think my partner would be mad at me for spendings tons of money on them. 😆

I would love to collect them! I have pretty boring ones, (I’m mini size cause I live in a small house) just a manatees (I love manatees so much that I compulsively buy manatee plushies almost whenever I find them) and a wolf. Would love to add to my collection.

looking at their current selection, oh my goodness the tan bunny and the monarch in particular. And that little plague nurse looks so sweet.

Oh my gosh my sister got one of these right when squishables became a thing and they use to have commercials on TV about them. She has a standard size arctic fox and I think she has one more, but I'm not sure what or where it is. She still loves her arctic fox a lot. I actually have this small frog that looks just like a squishable, but I got it when I was really young so I dont think it is technically the squishable brand. Or maybe it is, but it doesn't have a tag anymore so I have no way of knowing.

edit: this is her arctic fox:

I couldn't find a picture of the frog I have so maybe its not a squishable after all, but it sure looks like one.
