She has these crazy requirements for PWPs, doesn't let you work on holidays, you can't demolish something after you've donated the remainder for a PWP, because you should "celebrate." This is a big problem, because I want to demolish a bridge so someone could move near there, BUT I CAN'T! Anyone else have problems with Isabelle?

If she weren't so cute she'd probably bother me.
I thought she was nice before that bridge thing...I wanted to replace my old bridge for another model and she didn't want to, saying that "it may cause problems" to the houses nearby. What?! But it wasn't a problem when the villagers built their houses there thought! So I had to get rid of my villagers, built the new bridge and the first thing I know is that a new villager just built his house almost in front of that bridge, and not ONCE she told that villager "it may cause a problem gnagnagna.."

If I could, I'd fire her and make Freya my village manager. She's more then capable in my eyes, and SHE wouldn't give me flack for PWP placement.
That'd be such a cute addition if you could make villagers your secretary in new leaf. The more I think about it, the more I want this addition omg. Imagine the possibilities, although I think i'd be much more challenging if you had to have a villager that has a high level friendship with you first in order to have the option for them to be your secretary. You could even organize future events with them, or have them suggest to you future events and have you agree or disagree while outside. A villager secretary would be so cute. Personally, i'd probably choose Chief as my secretary. He'd be straight forward, and wouldn't be picky like Isabelle. he'd probably have a little more sense than her too I hate when she says things can't be put in certain spaces, when it's pretty apparent that there is quite enough space for ATLEAST a small public work to go there.
As much as I can rant all day about how much Isabelle annoys me sometimes, I do love her as a character. Her personality and design is adorable, I love that she's portrayed as a clumsy yet thoughtful and organized secretary. But just the PWP system, please re-think it nintendo... omg.

I agree, it can be annoying sometimes all the rules and regulations she enforces on you. But poor Isabelle is just trying to make your town a perfect place where everyone wants to live, and in her mind, that means all things must be perfectly spaced apart.

Rather than blamming Isabelle, we must blame the writers for not considering the best options for placing public work projects.
Besides, it's Isabelle's debut in the series, so we can't expect anything perfect.
Once I was about to place the light house in front of the roost, then I noticed how unsettling it was.
Anyway, what I can't stand about Isabelle is the fanbase.
They draw her in a very weird way and it's like they're making false advertising.
It's good to be creative, but making it exagerated is still silly.
Besides, it's Isabelle's debut in the series, so we can't expect anything perfect.

I loved Isabelle and thought she was adorable when I first got New Leaf. Overtime I dont care much for her anymore. Shes cute but not my fav NPC
