anybody else getting tired of wand recipes?

i’ve been trying to finish a space-themed area in my town but all i’ve been getting recently are flower wands and occasionally flooring or wallpaper i don’t need none of the wands stand out to me as particularly cute and they all do the same thing....have i just been having bad luck with the rng or are there just a lot of wand recipes? i’ve gotten two in a row and it’s really starting to get on my nerves

i understand wanting them for aesthetic/completion purposes! they’re just frustrating to me personally bc they’re getting in the way of something i’m trying to put together

I also got two in a row, I really liked the first one (steel) I got but I hated the second one (tulip), I do like them doe, as a concept.
I like it when they come with the seasonal events but I feel like celeste has too much awesome furniture to waste her on wands

Me too. I don’t even bother to craft them since I made the cherry blossom wand and they all do the same thing. I’ll be happy once I have them all so I can start getting other DIYs from her.

I like them but I also enjoy dressing my island rep as a magical girl so it suits me and my style well. I can see your frustration, though. I am quite the opposite - I get annoyed when I get space theme stuff and would much rather get the moon and star items. Not much luck with those on my end, though.

I've gotten a few wand diys, however I gotten a couple repeat ones, which is annoying. I too hate that the wands all the do the same thing. Makes me wonder why they are so many varieties when you only need to make one to have the functionality of all of them

I know right!! It's always kinda disappointing... Got a windflower wand last night and I don't even like windflowers! So I was kinda cheesed

They're a nice-ish concept but I just don't care for them. Maybe when I get all the clothes I'll have a use for them? I don't know.

I don't really use wands, so I don't find those recipes to be particularly exciting. Still though, if I want to get all the recipes, that means getting the wands too, so I guess that's the silver lining.

Tbh I don’t really understand them, I guess. I made my first one a couple days ago and it made such a big deal out of saying that you’re not really changing your clothes, and it just kind of lost me. It might take longer but I guess at the end of the day I’d prefer to actually change my clothes via wardrobe.

I think the magical girl idea is really cute, though!

Why are there so many chairs? All you need is the Rattan Stool to have the functionality of all of them.

Its aesthetic.

It would have been more interesting if we had more uses for the wands. But I guess it depends on the player. I haven't used a wand more than once just to try it but I have seen others love using theirs as it fits their play style.

Oh man, when I got the iron pipe from Celeste, I was like, "is she trying to make me into a yakuza?"

The iron pipe is actually pretty funny but that's pretty much it.

I was talking about this with a friend just last night. I agree, it's incredibly frustrating. I have a space-themed café, and was lucky enough to get a lot of cool space furniture (rocket, moon, crescent chair) but I went to a friend's island who had Celeste, got Lunar Rover, then her island got a communication error and when I came back I got a Pansy wand. Disappointing.

If they're going to add so many wand recipes, I wish they wouldn't link with each other so I could have different wands for different outfits! I've only felt the need to craft the cherry blossom wand. The rest are just a waste of materials.

different wands with different outfits would be really cool! but as it is i only feel the need to keep one and save my star fragments to use to craft other things

Though I agree, it does make getting the entire Celeste furniture set that much more rewarding. I'm down to only needing 2 more of her recipes, one being a wand, and the other the star head (or whatever it's called).
