Any critters you can't seem to catch?

Well, as of Complaining, I managed to wrap up all the fishes, but man... I'm getting convinced that no other bugs exist. Only miyama stags and rainbow stags (weirdly common now?). Golden stags? Don't know her. Horned atlas? Fake news. Cicada shells? I hear they're what gets made into unicorn feed.

The Isopod took what felt like forever...and the cicada shell. I got them but it was painful.

huh is my island the only one that has a decent cicada shell spawn rate? maybe I should start having island catching tours for c shell hunters

I've so far managed to catch everything (at least everything that has been catchable in Northern Hemisphere since the game came out in March). Some things take longer to catch than others. Giant trevally was my worst struggle. It also took me a long time to find a cicada shell.



Cicada shell feels like it has a stupidly low spawn rate. I managed to get one, but that's literally the only one I've ever seen so far in this game. And I play every single day for at least 30 minutes.

I *just* caught one the other day, and not one since. I almost screamed when I saw it. I was terrified I'd miss and knock it down.

SNAPPING TURTLES. I can't find any. I've triple checked what times they're supposed to be available and I've tried grinding for them but I get literally every river creature except for snapping turtles. It's so frustrating!

I finally caught a horned atlas last night, first time I'd ever seen it.

Recently just caught a ton of the bugs I was missing. Cicada shell, scarab beetle, giraffe stag, golden stag... also caught the napoleon fish and horseshoe crab finally, just missing that darn Giant Trevally still.

All the bugs that spawned on coconut trees, they're super rare and hard to catch!
