Animal Crossing Monopoly

I just got all excited but looking at the board I'm not sure about it... like, to me it would be a lot more interesting if the property spaces were villagers or their houses

I’m not a huge fan of Monopoly, but I like how Animal Crossing is being incorporated into it. I’m sure fans of the board game and Animal Crossing will enjoy the game.

I dislike Monopoly a lot. But I was curious upon seeing Mayor Mori had a video about it. Maybe someone else can buy it and let me know if it's worth it for us Monopoly haters haha

I love Monopoly, especially the collaboration boards, but my impression from the images of the board/explanation on the back of the box, is that this Animal Crossing board seems non-traditional. It looks like you choose a skill, and then, I don't know? Complete tasks (i.e., four characters [bug catcher, fisher, fossil digger, apple-picker] then spaces on the board with an apple, fish, fossil or butterfly)? It's cute, but it seems like a different board game.

I would have preferred a traditional Monopoly experience, where the properties to purchase were different villager homes. Between the two utility companies and four train stations on a traditional board, there could have been Blathers/Museum, Celeste, Resident Services, Nook's Cranny, Able's and Dodo Airlines? And because the AC reps are unique to each of us to customise, I would have preferred the player tokens be something else, like a fossil, a boot, a fish or bug, a tool, fruit, flower.

I'd definitely consider buying it if I saw it for sale though, just to try it. 😊

i honestly haven’t played monopoly since like,, middle school lol, but this actually looks really cute! i’d definitely consider purchasing it if i had someone to play with. 😅

I don’t like Monopoly; I have rarely finished a game of the regular monopoly (when I was a kid), But, seeing this one is a bit different, I could probably be convinced to play this if someone else has the game. I had gotten some other themed monopolies in the past and the only thing different about them were just the art (then again it has been so long since I looked at the games lol).

I don’t see myself buying unless I play someone else’s if anyone I know gets it and I like it, but chances of that are slim since only one or two used to play AC. Also, I haven’t hung out with anyone and have not made plans to yet.
