Animal crossing gc

I was thinking about this game and i remembered something super cool about it, the NES games.
You could place them in your room and they were literally full nes games (full list here http://animalcrossing.wikia.com/wiki/NES_Games) I thought these were so cool, and i have no idea why they took them out. Definitely something they should've kept it.
Are there things in the previous animal crossing games that you wish they'd kept in?

The Villagers from e+. Nindori and Vanessa. They are both super cool. Also, the "ask villager in boxes to stay" mechanic. It was so easy back then.
