Animal Crossing Deluxe mod

This mod is great and very exciting. Any ideas why it deletes all your music? Should I load my original save, and drop the music, so I will still have it, after patching?

By any chance, does anyone know if using this mod would require starting a new town/new save, or can an existing one be used?
I used GCMM https://oscwii.org/library/app/gcmm to rip my save off of my original memory card. They expanded the upstairs room, which is nice. However, I noticed that all my music is gone. Maybe because the game is in alpha? I guess you can just get it back, but I have no idea what else it deleted.

Hi, mod developer here. I would love to know exactly what you encountered that you consider not family friendly? It's possible some dialogue got in through user submission (message of the week), or didn't land as intended. I would consider all dialogue added within Animal Crossing spec, especially because most of it is translated from Doubutsu no Mori e+!
lmao, I bet is just a cranky villager calling you idiot, which I mean, probably what nintendo had to deal to the point they ended up with the boring villagers we have at NH

I know the mod does (or plans to at least) add songs from the "e+" version of the game. Maybe changes to the innards of the game's music list caused existing music libraries to be wiped somehow? Not sure if that's intended as an unfortunate cost of the upgrade, or if it's a bug that needs fixing. If you have access to the discord (which is linked in the first post of this thread if you don't) maybe you can submit a bug report to see if this can be fixed.

not to bump an old post.. but i JUST started playing this to relive my childhood nostalgia and let me tell you.. this has been a dream come true. I think it's reminded me how much i LOVED how little control we had in the animal crossing games, and seeing my old faves and having villagers with ACTUAL personality again has been so great. i use widescreen mode but i kept the acre camera on for nostalgia and honestly its been great. i did get the HD texture pack to see if it made things feel a little better and it was jarring at first but i really kind of like it now. i'm only like on day 3 of playing and i'm already having a blast. now i sit back and hope my #1 (rasher) moves in sometime.

the only gripe i currently have is the fact that JANE moved in on day 2 and i still cannot stand her to this day.

"Its still in Alpha.

If you want to use it, you need an Animal Crossing ISO (USA) and use xdelta patch.

Stationary airplane!

Edit: It has come to my attention theres been some added inappropriate dialog. I would reccomend that this project be steered away from because of it, even if it was one thing I found, its not family friendly.
i hope that it get ported to vita port bcz it will be so amazing!!
