but I am a little offended at the people complaining about "old" people being on ACC... I'm almost 30, and have played with some way older folks that I met right here on TBT..I'll probably still play an AC game when I'm 40.. There is nothing wrong with being "old")

30 isn't that old.

I was visited by a 60 something year old woman in ACCF for a giveaway service. Now THAT'S old.

I recently created an ACC account (recently meaning today) to get a different perspective. You know, like if I'm searching for a villager or item and I can't find it here, ACC could be my back up plan. There is a problem: I can't do anything over there because I JUST made my account. I know, its stupid.

I'm sorry. I'm actually the reason that flood control got implemented.

I feel like it's a lot more "Animal Crossing". Here it is a lot more simple and free. It's nicer here, I think. I've never been registered there myself, I don't think (I can't really remember), but I like this place more anyway. It's more active.

My first Animal Crossing site was Folkbook, from 2010 or something. I found it on a chat room site on Xat (which was my first ever social network, and remains my most favourite today), and I got involved. It was like Facebook for Animal Crossing, basically. Lots of nice memories. I still know people from there. It's gone now, though. I think the owner Kevin(?) left one day and the supplier of the site took it down due to inactivity. The Xat chat was still pretty active, though. People used to hate me because I loved Lady Gaga and yaoi way too much.

It doesn't look good to me. TBT seems to have more going on, it's not JUST an AC forum anymore, you can find buddies for other games too on here, and it's a lot better imo.

This brings memories because I used to be an active user on ACC. Also, I was an active member on this other forums called AxaForums, I think? Gosh, those bring memories!

It's not a bad site, but it has lot of restrictions, and you could get banned for the silliest things possible.

I feel this on an emotional level. They just banned me earlier this week and I'm honestly getting pretty irritated about it.

I used to be an active member on ACC years ago, not long after CF was released. I remember enjoying it at the time. I started playing AC again and looked for ACC as i remembered being on it, but I just didn't like it at all, the whole look and everything, it just didn't have as much of a good or enjoyable look and atmosphere as here does, that's why I joined here instead.

I tried browsing ACC to find dream addresses, but I couldn't find anything and left. Never bothered joining, 'cause I didn't like how it looked. And after reading about everyone's experiences, I'm glad I didn't join there. lol

I prefer ACC to Bell Tree because threads on ACC felt like they had more substance to them, and that the members were more mature. The private group threads (whatever they were called) were awesome and so were the Professor Layton threads

But eh, what can be done now

The rules are hilariously awful. That's the only site that I've ran into thieves and rude users too. I only use it if I'm desperate.
