Hello! So I got myself an Amiibo card for Vesta cause she’s one of dreamies and is the only one who didn’t cost an actual arm and leg to get. I did the song and dance for three days and got her to go to resident services to ask to move in and I’m full so it came back with the expected “they can’t take new people right now “ and that’s when I expected to get the negotiate flag after a few more times speaking to her. No such luck. This is the second day I have spent over two hours talking to her on repeat and no luck triggering negotiation. Has anyone else encountered this?
Would it be possible for you to post pictures/screenshots of the dialogue? I've moved in several Amiibo villagers before without a problem, so this sounds really likely to be a glitch
Just wondering if there's an update to this? I have a friend who's having the same problem so if you managed to fix it I'd love to know so I can help her!
Hi! Sorry I took a bit to get to this, didn’t have have a chance to look for a day or so, but anywho. It seems that when I was told the “ten villagers” you can have include yourself as one I was mistaken. So I had an open slot and didn’t know it. After filling that open slot I was able to process the Amiibo just fine. So your friend might have misunderstood like me? But it was also quite strange that the day before I got her move in her script changed. Instead of saying what I posted above it switched to “if there was a plot of land for sale I’d buy it!” And that was what made me check with Tom to see if that was even an option. Just a hunch but my game might have been bugged indeed and the update fixed it. Cannot say for sure however. How you guys did okay or this helps at all!
