Amiibo card villager or Wisp?

Hi! I don't know if this has been asked or discussed here yet. If it has please delete or lock this post (I'm still not sure how this forum works).

So I got Grizzly's amiibo card to move him in, and Wisp changed into him and asked for a wish. I asked for him to move in, but is it Grizzly moving in or Wisp as Grizzly moving in? Because how Wisp phrased it it sounded like Wisp as Grizzly moving in.

I know it's not really important to the game but I'm just wondering if anyone else had thought of this or was unsure lol?

Grizzly is moving in! Wisp just takes their "body" to communicate with you haha

I can confirm, having already moved 2 amiibo's in (Pashmina and Merengue).

Wisp just temporarily takes their form, when you tell Wisp to let them move it he will also say something like "And this is the real [villager] we're talking about, right?"
So yeah, the real villager will move in.

When they've moved into town, upon talking to the villager they will often say that they had heard a voice that told that to come live in your town, so that would be Wisp

It's the actual villager. I did this with Julian, and he moved in

Can two people use the same amiibo card to move in a villager?
