Like, I just finished playing this newest Pok?mon (So doing the league. I will be playing it more lol). And I found myself once again annoyed.
Pok?mon in their ever infinate wisdom KEEP adding tons of event Pok?mon, but making the events so few and far between (outside of Japan). It makes me wonder WHY they bother putting the damn 'mon in if noone can catch them without spending a ton of cash to go travel to a shop to 'download' them.
I like it when they do dated events. Its a good chance you can get to downloading them. But WHY is it they put in such cool Pok?mon (Geneosect for example) which have such advanced engineering and you spend the game collecting things to go with them or which'll work well with them (Arceus is a prime example) only to find you cannot obtain these pok?mon?
This is why I use an action replay and I think people have given up going to events. Whats the point? I can get any Pok?mon I want (event or not) with my Action replay, NO PROBLEM.
I understand the arguements of 'Oh but then you're being lazy/But it ruins the game' etc.
My replies:
1. Not ALL of us have time and money to travel to places for Pok?mon. I've asked before, I'm simply not allowed. the closest place is BRIGHTON which is ?10+ return ticket (given I'm an adult) and I'd need directions to the gameshop to get said Pok?mon.
2. Not really. I've gone around for these pok?mon on pearl doing the events. Now we are forced to go back to the old 'random encounter' I do feel I've missed out. And I have yet to see ANY negative effects (like glitches or bugs in my games). Only retards get them when they **** up the coding.
I know this seems like a rant...well it is to a point. But I'm just wondering how many people are resigning to an Action replay or a friend with one. Because I doubt MANY people travel to ALL the events to get these pok?mon.
