I've reset a few times either because I want a certain villager or I don't like the town layout

No, you are not the only one, I havent reseted yet, and wont do, I have full museum and lots of rare items, not going to buy a second 3ds or animal crossing games just to reset, too much stuff to lose, beside I still have to develop a bit more my town and villager houses.
