Am I the only one who has never reset their town?

I've reset my WW and CF towns several times (I guess I just got bored with my towns). But I've never reset a Population Growing game or my NL game. I never want to reset any of my towns again, I guess with NL we can see how many hours we actually put into our towns and it makes me think of how much time that actually is lol. :)

I restarted my town several weeks ago for the first time, mainly because I was bored after finishing everything. My old town was updated in the dream suite before resetting, but I've always wanted to try a horror themed town. They're not too common either, which is a shame, so I decided to make one of my own.

There are lots of people I know who've refused to reset their towns, ever since the game came out.

I've never reset. Had the same town since I started in December 2012.
Actually I've never reset any of my towns in previous games either! If I went back to them they'd still be the same towns I started with!
For some reason it's never something I've considered.

I've been thinking the same things myself recently! I've never reset either, Cinnabar had it's one year anniversary on June 13th, and I'm not bored of it at all! I'm working on getting every single gold badge, which keeps me really busy. I have 7 permanent villagers and 3 that I will let move after they've been in town for a few months, so there'll always be some new faces. If I get bored of the zen/tropical theme then I'll redesign everything as I have all PWPs unlocked.

There are a few things I'd change if I could: get rid of a few rocks and one of my ponds, and change the modern police station to a classic one to fit my town better. But those things aren't worth resetting over and I've worked around them. I put so much time and effort into Cinnabar, to me it would be such a waste to reset for whatever reason. I also have a side town which I enjoy working on when I have the time. At the moment it's kind of like a project, and I'm in no rush to complete it.

I've said in another post that I personally think that any map can make a beautiful town, it's the hard work and time that you put into it that makes a town something special, not just the kind of grass you have or the colour of your train station roof!

I'll never reset. I'd rather stop playing the game for a while than resetting my town ( I have other priorities so I can't just buy another copy). I've put more than one year, millions of bells, and 500h+ hours of work into Tropico ( my town) and even if there's some things I don't like, I wouldn't reset ( I can't change them and my town isn't even finished in my opinion :) ). I don't let any of my villagers go away anymore, except for one so I can have someone new every 4~5 months ( I'm talking about Lopez).

My town has never really been all that progressed. The most I've ever gotten is the roost. So I don't feel bad when I grow tired of my town.

I suspect I would never reset. So much time spent on my current town, plus it enjoy just letting fate decide how things should be. If something isn't in the "perfect" spot, so be it. Part of the fun is working with what I am given.

I'd never reset my main town, Magnolia, or my second town, Fiore. I love them too much and I've done so much work in them.

I reset my third town, Edolas, every week or two. It's my resetting town, the cartridge I use to play with new maps and villagers, so if I didn't reset in it, it would lose its purpose.

I've never reset my town in New Leaf. Maybe (just maybe) in a year or so when I've gotten the biggest tree I might consider resetting, but definitely not until then.

On the Gamecube I resetted often. I've probably had 4-5 really developed towns on it.

I've never resetted... I only started playing in February, and I didn't know that there were different layouts of the town, etc... I just took what I was given.

I've never reset NL, because it would take a lot of time and effort to get my favourite villagers and the shops back. I love my town as it is despite my main character having a face that is cute and weird at the same time and my native fruit are pears. (I hate the gritty texture of pears in real life and would rather have apples.)

I've never reset my town. Come to think of it, I never reset my WW or CF town either. I never did play the original one, but I probably wouldn't have reset that either.

I never planned on resetting, but after getting out of the game for over 7 months, I didn't feel like continuing on from where I left off. I wanted to start fresh.

I've never had a town more than 2 months & I've had the game for over a year.

I've reset my game over 5,000 times according to my game log, assuming 1,000 of those are times where I was playing in towns. And I don't regret it a bit.

I haven't reset my town since I got the game, and I don't intend to either. I have grown to like the imperfections in my town and it's fun to try and work around them. :)

Don't worry, I haven't done it either! I just take everything that's happened with my town and if a villager has moved in a bad spot, I ignore them until they move.

And for the things that CAN'T be removed, I make ABSOLUTELY SURE they are in the place that I REALLY want them in before I start paying them off.
