All-Region Choir Auditions

There were 14 places, or chairs, which you could earn. Out of all the tmot 2's that auditioned, I made 6th chair, which is excellent.

i wouldn't say god isn't a name similar to henry or samantha, etc. it's a name that could be used for many things, though it isn't always a proper noun when used by some. UENGRISHBRO?

I get what you're saying "Zeus the god of lighting." All good and dandy. But Niko said "God" the "God" of the Christian/Catholic faith. That "God" is a proper noun.

Not into a profession/career, but something that I can fallback on if my main career (it being related to the computer science field) doesn't take off.

And yes, it is a state-wide choir that I am going to try to get into. That is the final level, actually.

If you're talking about gods, not God. God is a name, not a pronoun if you're referring to, the One I believe in, you capitalize the name. If would be like capitalizing "John" or "Bill".
However, if you are referring to "gods" i.e. in roman mythology, then it is considered a pronoun, for it is not referring to a specific proper name.

Regardless, I hope you get in. I remember those years of All-Region here. Couldn't keep up, and after my voice went down as much as it did, I could no longer sing the high notes, so I was basically out of the group.
