No, I know it's hard to see but there's something there. it's directly above my player at the beginning. Is there a way to get the video without it being compressed?

If it's not the chimney smoke is it the cloud in the far background? That's definitely a cloud, it looks rather transparent and cloud like (i'm referring to the one in the background towards the end)

that has to be a cloud since the other cloud behind it is moving at the same speed, which is due to the heavy wind
I looked at the video on Twitter and it's a little more clearer on there. It looks like a vertical cloud that doesn't move properly.
I think if it was meant to like like an UFO it would look different. I think it's just a bugged cloud, but you never know.
On second thought it might look like a flying bird or something like that, really in the distance.

The only other thing I see in the sky looks like two wispy clouds that are being pushed really quickly by super-strong winds. I'll admit they do look kinda weird, especially the one closest to your character.
I meant UFO as an unidentified flying object because I have no clue what it is. I'm going to try and upload it to youtube

UFO, I have the crop circle flooring so it probably a UFO or UFO do exist. I also want UFO to exist as I am a huge fan of cryptology.
Aliens are canon in Animal Crossing games so it's not too far fetched.

What do people mean when they say “canon”...as in its part of the story? Oh having UFO would be awesome! Maybe UFO will allow us to expand our island or something...just saying out loud wishful thinking….
Yep aliens are part of Animal Crossing as much as Tom Nook is a part of Animal Crossing

UFOs were possible to be spotted in New Leaf rarely, and also your TVs would be interrupted by an alien broadcast as 3:33am on Sundays
There was once the rumor that a UFO would appear outside in the sky in connection with the alien message on TV at 3:33 AM, but nobody confirmed it yet or at least many says it's fake. For me, this looks like a really small cloud that got weirdly animated. (Although I would find it cool if UFOs would actually appear in the game...)
