Age Restirctions 3ds?

When i try to download the conception 2 demo on the eshop andd it said i am not eligible to view this content. I didn't set any parental controls! Am i not old enough??? Im turning 17 in two days!

Pretty sure Conception II is rated M, so you have to be 17 to download it. I think it might be different in other countries?
You'd only have to wait two days though it seems

lol september 22? I tried to go in and change my birthday, but it doesn't ask for the year so idk how they would know how old i am

If you have a NNID, I think that is where it's pulling your birthdate from not the 3DS itself.

I had the same issue on my Wii U a few months ago before my birthday. After you hit 17 though, it no longer restricts as ESRB will consider you an adult. It's a pain, but not much can be done after setting up a NNID.
